The Chris Moyles breakfast show on Radio1.

The chris moyles show, an early morning breakfast show that starts at 06:30 in the morning and runs through till 10 30 is based at all of the listeners who are just waking up and going to work, the show is the prime slot for radio1 and has one of the biggest listener base throughout the bbc radio stations, the jingle to start the show starts without any audio voices but bells tingling and wind based instruments playing, this very quickly erupts into a more rock tune with drums which makes you feel like getting up and like you want to listen to the show, not long after this audio comes into it with a catchy tune singing about how it is cold outsdie the bedroom, the streets are dark and bare and that you should stay inside your bed, this tune carries on and gets you in the mood for listening to the show or getting out of bed, part of the audio says ' Chris is here and so's his team, and aleds tagged along' which is there to let the audience know that it is Chris moyles who is about to have a show on the radio and is introducing it, at the end of the jingle it ends and then a backing beat of the drums and some instruments from the jingle carry on whilst Chris starts talking about the show and what may be in it.
Tim Westwood's 'In new music we trust' show.

Tim Westwood hosts a show called 'in new music we trust' which is on between 21:00 and 22:00 on a tuesday night, it is an 'alternative' program where Tim Westwood talks and plays fresh RnB and Hip-Hop and dancehall tracks, as like every radio program the show starts with a 'Jingle' they have created to let the audience know of what the show is about and what they may hear and find out during the show, unlike other jingles this jingle gets right in there with many voices saying differnet things such as 'Check out in new music we trust', it goes on to say that it is on tuesdays at 9pm which is letting the audience know when the show is, after this it goes on to say that it is with Tim Westwood and 'Go on Tim Westwood' which is introducing the Dj that is heading the show, after a few radio effects like crackling, Tim Westwood introduces the show over the begining of a track where he lets everyone know about how his featured guest is 50 cent and what a few of the things he is going to be playing in the show.
Annie Mac's Mash up

Annie Mac hosts a radio show between 7 and 11 on a friday evening which is primetime listening for anyone who is leaving a late days work and going home ready for the weekend to start, this will mean that there will be a large audience base, the begining of her show starts with her Jingle which is a fast moving intense introduction to the listener of what may be in the show and what the show is about, a mix of many tracks and vocals mixed together to create a great start to the show with it saying 'Its friday night' by many people, which gets the listener into the mood that its now the weekend and you can let loose a bit, which is summed up in the blurb of the show being 'a post-pub , pre-club show.
Right after the mix of the jingle it goes into a fast moving track which is interupted half way through when the vocals stop with Annie Mac introducing her show and thanking the previous DJ, she explains that there is going to be fast moving enjoyable music. The Audience that Annie Mac will be targetting would be a younger audience which could range up to the mid 40's, i believe this is the audience that is being targetted by Annie Mac with her fast moving up-beat show that has a broad range of music styles, from Hardcore to Punk and rock but mainly delving into the Club music scene because of how the show is situated right before the weekend and before the listeners will be going out to the clubs, this means that they will be wanting to get into the mood and ready for clubbing, which is a good pull into listening to the music for the style that is being broadcast. What is different between Annie Mac's evening show and others is there are very few news slots compared to many other shows that are around.

Terry Wogans 'Wake up to Wogan' morning show.
Terry Wogans morning show is a weekday show from 7 30am till 9 30 am and has the biggest audience base out of the shows on the BBC radio stations,
Terrys show is linked into from an older song by Queen, when this ends it cuts into the news and weather before the show and has an indepth report of the news and then weather, once this has finished it goes to Wogan speaking and makes a joke making his co-presenters laugh, in the background a old pirate shanty starts which then quickly cuts into a song were terry talks in the background untill the vocals start, at the end of the song he introduces the show how he is 'rising above it' and goes into a chat about what he got up to the night before, and then about the weather in Scotland, after this it goes into a song by Stevie wonder. At the end of the start to the show he goes into talking about the television program 'The great british menu' and the food that was on the show.
The audience that Terry wogan has is an older age range (although he does get some younger people), the shows that are on BBC Radio 2 often have an older age range of viewers compared to radio 1 due to the newer 'hip' music being played on Radio 1 compared to Radio 2 that often play some older music mixed in with new, as can be shown by the start of Terry Wogans show were he is playing music by Queen, Stevie wonder, although right at the end of the begining i have listened to he plays a new track from Girls aloud which shows that he plays differnent Era's of the music. I believe from listening to some of Terry Wogans show that his audience is often older because of what he talks about compared to such DJ's as Chris Moyles on radio 1, he talks about the current affairs much more compared to Chris Moyles who is mainly about Celebrities and gossip.
BBC Radio 4's 'Any Questions'
I have decided to look into the 'Any Questions' program on Radio 4 which is a topical discussion in which a panel of personalities from the worlds of politics, media and elsewhere are posed questions by the audience, the show starts with an advert for children finding their half siblings for a show on Radio 4 later in the week, it then cuts to a radio 4 broadcaster introducing 'Any questions', The presenter of this weeks 'Any Questions', Jonathon Dimbleby welcomes his audience and introduces the show, he explains from where it is coming and a bit about the town of Cookham in Berkshire, after this he introduces the rest of the members of the panel who are going to be answering the questions and explaining what they have done in the past and what they are doing now, after the fourth member of the panel is introduced the audience clap which shows there is a live audience, the program carries on with one of the panel explaining a situation in the world right now about politics, to which some of the rest of the panel members comment(with a few laughs from the audience). From listening to the first section of the 'Any Questions' program I can see it is aimed at an older audience and there is no music throughout, it is aimed at an older generation who are interested in the politics in the country, because of this the audience will be much smaller then a program such as Terry Wogans Wake up show or the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, because the BBC (British Broadcasting Corp.) trys to target all audiences there is a show like 'Any Questions' on BBC Radio 4.
Local Radio Station - BBC Radio Jersey
I listened to the beginning of a Monday morning BBC Radio jersey program with a female presenter/host, I realized it is much like how i plan to base my radio program, the host comes in and introduces the show for about 30-40 seconds talking about what is in the show and talks about what is coming up in the show, this is good so that the audience has a feeling of what is coming up in the show, after the presenter has introduced what is happening it goes forwards into the news and sport, lovally and around the world, this is good for informing the viewer, the news and sport ends and the show continues into a chat.
